April Arnzen

April Arnzen is executive vice president and chief people officer at Micron Technology. She also serves as president of the Micron Foundation.

April is responsible for leading Micron’s people strategy, which includes cultivating a culture where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute their best and drive Micron’s innovation forward.

Since joining Micron in 1996, April has held various positions of increased responsibility and worked across many functions within Human Resources. She has led the transformation of Micron’s people programs, emphasizing the creation of a high performing and learning culture. Additionally, she has aligned business strategy with people strategy by supporting programs that enhance financial, physical and emotional health, and leadership development aimed at nurturing world-class leaders. She is also passionate about cultivating the semiconductor workforce of the future and fostering a culture of innovation within Micron teams around the world.

An avid champion for education, April serves her communities on two non-profit education boards, the NSTC Natcast Workforce Advisory Board, and is frequently a speaker in women’s leadership forums.

April earned a bachelor’s degree in human resources management and marketing from the University of Idaho. In 2018, she graduated from the Stanford Graduate School of Business Executive Program.
