Micron Foundation

Endowed with gifts from Micron Technology, Inc., the Micron Foundation's mission is to develop effective programs that promote math, science, and engineering education; and to participate in activities that address the priorities and concerns of the communities where Micron employees live and work. Outreach, grants, innovation, and collaboration are key elements in reaching our goals.

K-12 Resources for Schools and Students

The K-12 Resource page contains information for K-12 schools and students. This includes grants, lesson plans, math and writing in the workplace, career awareness, and activity requests. Micron's Student Site is a career awareness Web site designed especially for students. Students will find resources for career awareness and tips on interviewing for jobs.

University Resources

Our university resources provide information for students and faculty. We focus on engineering and science programs in connection with the semiconductor industry. This includes research and engineering program support. Grants are by invitation only.

As of November 1, 2008, the Micron Foundation no longer sponsors the Micron Science and Technology Scholarship.

Community Resources

We are committed to the communities where our employees live and work. Our resources include grants, volunteerism, and partnership.
